  • Application by Morning Sun Bus Company, Inc for an intercity bus stop in front of 201 West 37th Street, on the north side of the street between 7th and 8th Avenues.  The proposed location is an existing bus stop for Vision Tours Corp.  The stop would be shared by the bus companies.  There would be 2 pick-ups at 7:30am and 5:30 pm, 7 days a week.  There would be 2 drop-offs at 2:00pm and 10:00pm, 7 days a week.
  • Application by Eastern Coachways Inc. for an intercity bus stop in front of 175 Madison Avenue on the east side of the street between East 33rd and East 34th Streets.  The proposed location is an existing bus stop for the MTA's QM21 and BXM18.  There would be 1 pick-up per day at 11:00 AM and 1 drop-off per day at 5:30 PM, 7 days a week.
  • Department of Design and Construction (DDC) and Department of Transportation (DOT) present preliminary design of the Pedestrian Improvements project at 40th - 42nd Streets  (b/w 5th & 6th Avenues) which will involve: relaying/resetting blue stone sidewalk; granite curbs; roadway resurfacing on W. 40th St; neckdown on W. 40th (N.E. Corner) and 1 catch basin and street light relocation.
