Submit Your Comments on Proposed Horse Carriage Rule

The official notice of public hearing, which includes a map of the proposed horse carriage boarding locations, is available at this link.  

Here is Mayor Bill de Blasio's official announcement on the proposed rule and here's a news summary by WNYC.

The deadline to submit comments is October 3rd, 2018.  If you would like to comment on this proposed rule, here are four ways to do so:

1. Speak at the hearing

The hearing will occur on Wednesday, October 3rd at 1:00 PM at the Department of Transportation Bid Room, 55 Water Street, Concourse Level, New York, NY 10041.  Anyone who wants to comment on the proposed rule at the public hearing must sign up to speak.  You can sign up before hand by calling 212-839-6500 or by signing up in person in the hearing room before it starts on October 3rd.  You can speak up to 3 minutes.
