CB5 to host Department of Transportation Public Meeting

DOT will be instituting a new pilot program to combat congestion in CB5.

 Green Light for Midtown is a pilot program aimed at reducing traffic congestion  throughout
Midtown Manhattan.  This program aims to re-envision the landscape of the Broadway area,
 from 23rd street to 59th street.

The main feature of this trial program is to discontinue vehicular traffic on Broadway from
47th Street to 42nd Street and from 35th Street to 33rd Street.
  . 

This meeting is being held so that members of the community can address their questions and concerns about this pilot program directly to representatives of the DOT.
The meeting is free and the public is invited to attend.
