  • 1095 Sixth Avenue (@ 42nd St) application with the Department of City Planning for a chair certification under Section 37-625 of the Zoning Resolution to redesign its through-block plaza.  At the time it was constructed, in the late 1960s, the office building at 1095 Sixth Avenue was the subject of height and setback waivers; thus the application includes a minor modification of the special permit to allow a change in the site plan (the new plaza design) and to remove a prior requirement of the special permit that an underground concourse be provided between the 42nd Street subway entrance and the west side of the property.
